I must say that, like so many others, my love for European over the top spaghetti western started with that famous Sergio Leone movies, also Sergio Corbucci flicks who brought love in me for rowdy gunslingers, mysterious heroes, tormented villains and people neither good nor bad, trying just to get rich or get by.
Black Jack starts with a gang led by Jack Murphy, who are planning the perfect bank heist. After they do it, the gang members turn against Jack, rape and kill his sister and leave him thinking he is dead too. As it goes in such movies, Jack survived and goes after his former mates killing them one by one in various ways. Jack Murphy becomes crippled killer with a walking stick called Black Jack.
This is a movie with a message. That a revenge is a two way road. It affects the one who have done you wrong, but it also affects you as a person, leaving you insane and on the road with no return. Jack is portrayed by American actor Robert Woods, he is a character with whom you can be sympathetic with but as the movie evolves he turns into something else, monster, laughing maniac and true villain of this movie. Although I wouldn´t call him villain. The true villain of this movie is merciless revenge until the bitter end.
Watch this one. It is a good one.
